Gray day, gray water

Moscow, Russia, two days ago
Moscow is not the "real" name of Russia's capital, it's an English word; the real Russian name of the city is Moskva. Moskva is also the name of the river on which the city was built some 850+ years ago. The city is huge, but the river, unlike the city, cannot grow with the centuries. This year, it's even more shallow than it was. The sandy bottom shows in some places.
